We made a bold promise: 100% of public donations go directly to fund sustainable clean water projects. Even credit card fees don’t get in the way—if you gave $100 and we received $97 after fees, we’d cover the difference to ensure the full $100 reaches the field.
To make this possible, we keep our clean water project funds and operational expenses completely separate—with distinct purposes, fundraising goals, and bank accounts. This allows us to guarantee that every public dollar is used solely to bring clean water to those who need it most.
Thanks to this model, over 1 million people across 100+ countries have joined our mission.

Since day one, we’ve depended on a dedicated group of generous private donors to fund all our operating costs. While it’s not always easy, we’re deeply committed to this approach. Our dedication to transparency earns the trust and support of passionate donors, enthusiastic fundraisers, long-term brand partners, and loyal volunteers who, like us, believe that clean water has the power to transform lives.
The Wotter is a vibrant community of business leaders, founders, and entrepreneurs who contribute a portion of their private equity to support our mission—while providing a unique employee benefit. This groundbreaking giving program is the first of its kind to incentivize and reward nonprofit employees through equity participation.
It’s also a vital pillar in sustaining our 100% model, guaranteeing that every public donation continues to go directly toward delivering clean water to those in need
In addition to The Wotter, a curated group of companies and foundations support our staff salaries and operational costs through corporate donations, sales percentage contributions, and customized campaigns designed to align with each business’s market and brand identity.
We apply industry best practices to manage investment assets, maximizing our ability to bring clean water to as many people as possible. Operating funds and donor contributions awaiting deployment are invested in low-risk capital market instruments to grow our assets.
From technology to office furniture, many of our resources come from generous company donations. We’re incredibly thankful to those who contribute equipment and services, enabling us to work efficiently and with style.
